Archangels school, Kannikalam is an Educational Institution run by the Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of Mary Help of Christians. The Congregation is governed by the Mother General and her five-member team of the General Counsel. The School follows the educational method of St. John Bosco, the great educator of Youth. This method is based on the love of God’s conviction, prevention of faults by proper supervision, and friendly correction. The aim of the institution is to build a harmonious society, to promote emotional and national integration, and foster patriotism, respect for all, and unity. For this the institution imparts education by cultivating in the pupils habit of piety, virtue and discipline in order to become well-integrated members of the society. The students are prepared to make choices that call for initiatives ,handwork, taking risk and moving forward in a new direction, striving to bring about equality, tolerance, social justice and national integration.

THE GOVERNING BODY

The governing body of the institution is constituted by the provincial superior and her council of the Congregation of Missionary Sisters of Mary Help Of Christians, Province Guwhati. In all matters of governance and control the final authority, to establish and control the institution and its fund, is the prerogative of the governing body.

REGISTRATION

The School is registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 S. No.66/2007  and the President of the Society is the Provincial Superior.
