ABSENCE AND LEAVE

  1. Leave of absence on a regular class day may be granted for a sufficient cause, but only on a previous application in writing from the parents or guardian.
  2. If a Pupil is absent through illness or any other cause, the Principal must be informed at once and the pupil or returning to the school must bring note from the parent certifying to the effect.
  3. A pupil who is absent for a month or more without having previously informed the Principal or obtained her permission, will have his/her name struck off the roll. If readmitted he/ she be required to pay the admission fee.
  4. Pupil who are absent more than 10% of the working days of the school without proper working days of the school without proper authorization shall not be allowed to present themselves for the promotion examination.

 

GENERAL RULES OF DISCIPLINE

  1. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience, conduct, injurious to the moral tone of the school justify dismissal at any time of the year unless a child after has been admonish to correct his faults.
  2. Any damage done to the school property must be made good by the pupils. Fines may be imposed by the Principal for the faults against irregularly or for repeated breaches of discipline.
  3. The School is not responsible for any goods or money lost by the pupil. It is not advisable to bring any valuable articles to school. The pupils must look after their own things.
  4. Homework when assigned by the class or subject teacher, must be done in proper time. The Principal may check the regularity of the homework at any time.
  5. Mobile phones, CD, memory card, newspaper, magazines, comics, and books should not be brought to school without the permission of the Principal.
  6. Latecomers require the Principal’s permission to enter the class.
